Eurospeak Language School

Age Concern and Eurospeak Language School

Age Concern hosted two Italian work pairing students from Eurospeak an International Language School based in Reading recently.

Martina and Dominique

Martina aged 17 and Dominique aged 20 spent four weeks at the Day Centre in June and it was a positive experience for all involved.

Martina wanted to gain work experience with the elderly and improve her language skills.

Dominique’s aim was to develop her skills and knowledge and “enrich her life with their stories”

Eurospeak also donated £300 to Age Concern. This will help us to continue our work with older People in the area.

Tracey Hedgecox, Chief Executive Officer said:

This has been a great experience for the clients, students and Age Concern. I would have no hesitation in recommending that other organisations consider getting involved in the work placement scheme”
