Eurospeak was established in the city of Reading in November 1991 as a language school focused on English education. Over time, Eurospeak stands out as one of the largest English language schools in the Berkshire region, thanks to its professional staff and strong vision. Eurospeak, which continues its activities continuously and growing, opened its second branch in the city of Southampton in October 2018.

Eurospeak Language Schools is an authorized examination center of the University of Cambridge and a reputable organization accredited by many institutions such as Trinity College London, Pearson Edexcel, the National Open College of Network (NOCN) and the English Speaking Board (ESB).

Location

Reading, Berkshire: The school is located in the very center of the city, 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. In addition, there are many shops, restaurants and a shopping center called Oracle around the school building. Reading is located in the middle of Southern England and stands out as an ideal center for English education. What’s more, it’s 30 minutes from Oxford and London and provides easy access to more distant cities such as Liverpool, Manchester and Edinburgh.

Preparation for Cambridge Exams in United Kingdom

Eurospeak Language Schools organize English preparation courses for their students to take exams:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): IELTS preparation courses organized by Eurospeak are highly effective and popular. Students from all over the world undergo rigorous English training to be successful in the IELTS exam. At the end of the course, students get scores between 5.0-8.0 and gain the right to apply and study at internationally reputable higher education institutions.

First Certificate in English (FCE): Students with this certificate are expected to be ready for the next level (CEFR: B2) and to demonstrate a high level of comprehension and communication skills, both orally and in writing. This widely recognized certificate can be used to improve employment opportunities for non-native English professionals. The level of this certificate equals 5.0 IELTS score.

Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): This certificate is a high level qualification for candidates who want to use their English for professional or educational purposes. This qualification is recognized by many employers in Europe, and many professionals take this test to prove their English level. The result is equivalent to a 6.0 IELTS score.

Students who are successful in such exams can prove their English level by obtaining official certificates from reputable institutions such as Cambridge University.

English Summer School in the United Kingdom

Eurospeak offers English language courses for children (12-17 years old) and adults (18+) during the summer period. Classes are made up of different nationalities and the course is intended to cater to all possible skills. In addition to English education, various activities are planned for students to improve their social skills and to beneficially spend their free time outside of class.

Daily activities such as paintball, barbecue, bowling, laserquest, football, volleyball and board games, climbing and swimming are organized for students. In addition, student events such as dinners, parties and quiz nights are included as part of the social program. Through such activities, it is aimed to create a community atmosphere and a strong sense of belonging among students.

Various half and full day trips are organized for students on weekdays and weekends. During these trips, popular places and cities such as London, Oxford, Windsor Castle, Henley-on-Thames, Bournemouth, Cambridge-Bath, Thorpe Park, Harry Potter Studios are visited.

During their trip to London, students visit places and structures such as Madame Tussauds, the London Eye, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich Park and the Royal Observatory. In general, thanks to Eurospeak student activities, students have the opportunity to learn more about British Culture by visiting various museums and other places of historical and cultural significance.

In order for the academic and social life to progress in a healthy way, great importance should be given to the choice of accommodation.

Application Procedure for Eurospeak Language Schools English Courses

The application process for English courses organized by Eurospeak Language Schools can be done online. The procedure is as follows;

1) English level test: allows us to have a good idea of your English level; You will automatically receive a copy of your results upon the end of the test. The test consists of 120 questions and takes about 40 minutes:

3) Offer letter: Upon receiving the online application form, Eurospeak will send you a letter of offer with dates, prices and other course details.

4) Details verification: You must confirm that all course details and student data are correctly specified in the offer letter.

5) Payment: You can pay after confirming that everything is correct. Payment methods:

  • Online registration system for courses
  • Credit / debit card via phone

6) Visa Letter: A Visa Letter will be sent to the student when the full payment is received. This will confirm that the student has paid the total amount for the study period and will show the length of time they will spend studying with us.

Visa and Immigration Procedures for English Language Education in the UK

Do I Need a Visa to Study English in the UK?

If you come from one of the 28 countries of the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you do not need a visa to learn English at Eurospeak.

If you live outside of the EU and EEA, you will need a visa.

What Kind of Visa Do I Need to Study English in the UK?

UK Student Visitor Visa: It is the type of visa required for programs up to 6 months and English level is not required. With a Visiting Student Visa, there is no opportunity to work in the UK and after the expiry of the visa period, this visa type cannot be extended from the UK. If England when requested to extend the duration Visitor Student Visa will need to be made in a new application from Turkey.

Extended Visitor Student Visa: It is the type of visa that students who want to attend language schools or certificate programs in the UK should apply. The Extended Student Visitor Visa is issued to students who will study for 6 to 11 months. In this type of visa, the student has no chance to extend the visa from the UK. You must leave the country on the visa expiry date. Students on an Extended Student Visitor Visa are not legally permitted to work in the UK.

TIER 4 Long Term Student Visa: Persons wishing to study in the UK for more than 6 months can apply for a TIER 4 visa. With the TIER 4 visa, applications can be made to language schools, primary education and university education programs, and postgraduate programs. If the duration of your education gets longer, you can continue to stay in the UK by applying for a UK visa extension. Language education students with a TIER 4 Long Term Student Visa are entitled to work 10 hours a week. There is an intermediate (at least CEFR: B1) English requirement for this visa and this competence must be proven by an internationally valid exam result. This requirement is not required for persons under the age of 18 who apply for a TIER 4 visa.

What are the main documents I need to apply for a UK student visa?

3) Passport size two color photographs

4) “Eurospeak Visa” visa letter (to be provided by Eurospeak after paying the full fee.

5) You must have a suitable proof of income (enough money to pay for living without working (bank statements, payslips, etc.) to prove that you can support yourself)

How Much Are UK Student Visa Fees?

UK student visa fees vary depending on which type of student visa you choose and the duration of your stay in England. In addition, UK student visa fees are determined by the British Consulate General in Istanbul and the British Embassy in Ankara.

Current visa fees as of June 2020:

  • Short-term language education visa application fee is 133 USD.
  • Long-term language education visa application fee 254 USD
  • TIER 4 student visa application fee is 476 USD.

How Long Does It Take To Get A UK Student Visa?

It is recommended to apply for a visa at least 3 months before the start of the training program. It is highly likely that a positive or negative answer was received within 3 weeks of the application date.
